The first week of poly was partially exciting. Who the hell's excited for school at this age anyway?

haha. So I was late on the first day and everyone gave this ..I'd say grim stare when I came. However it settle down I guess. Then the days passed by really slow but one thing's great is that I met great people,younger and older than me. Which is great exposure I guess.

Okay,these are the photos up till now. There's a lot more but meh. I think my holidays were well spent and I am thankful for these guys,for everything! From lending me an ear to listen during the break up and backing me up when that guy dissed me. Not to mention there are many others as well! To be honest,this is the first time I've taken so many pictures in like..the whole 17 years of my life. Normally it's like.. I considered it as vain and whatnot,but meh, it's for memories. Yay for open mindedness.

Ah,school finally gonna start. This is weird,considering you wear home clothes to school and bring your own laptop to class. Hmm.. I hope my classmates are gonna be outgoing and enthusiastic. I guess that is all for now. There's not much to say though.

Okay,so I just got back from a short vacation at Malaysia. Yes,it was my first time with friends. I'd say it was quite fun even though we had nothing much to do at there,their presence was enough to make the whole trip fun!

I didn't film as much as I took pictures,here it is anyway. I hate the limitations of auto-focus in digital cameras! ): ,I wanna get my Sony a33 DSLT asap...

So I'd guess I had a taste of what touring is like for bands and all,I think. But I'd like to go a far away country next time when all the fee for accommodation and shit like that can be settled!

There's much to be seen,many things to do,pictures to be taken and many others. I'd like to experience different cultures as well!

Damn,maybe traveling might be a thing for me,haha just saying. I'd like to thank Dion and Wm though for helping me to keep shut my mouth about my rants about her. I think that I found a reason why there isn't any need to talk about her to you guys;basically there's no point if I talked about her to you guys. Oh yeah,Fadzil too for saying "stop it about her already,seriously",heh. But inevitably you'll be on my mind, but I'll just have to move along.

What's up with me? Hmm, I've been watching japanese drama cause I'm bored. Also while doing that,I came across a very nice art that I think defines Japan? I don't know how you say it but it's like,when you see a piece of art you'd get this feeling that this is like..from medieval europe or ancient chinese arts.

So anyway, the name of the artist is Kitagawa Utamaro. And also, his art: The Ascending Dragon, is Matt Heafy's tattoo on his right forearm,which is fucking cool!

Okay let me get back to what I wanted to say. So I saw one his masterpiece called The Lovers. I think it's an art that I really appreciate despite it being.. inappropriate. It reminds me of the times when we were passionate about each other's love and just wanted us to know that we loved each other like hell. So today,was basically nothing as always. Oh yeah,I polished up the recording of throes of perdition. It's way better compared to last time.

Japan earthquake

So as you all know,the earthquake that hit in Fukushima,Japan was quite drastic.

And it's been from bad to worse,I felt that I had to rant after watching the news about the situation down there. Sigh. I dunno why,it hit me real hard,really hard.

I..just don't know what to say. From what I've seen from Philip.D's video on youtube( Search sxephil) ,the situation is really bad. Just when you thought tsunami and earthquake was enough. Now there's nuclear explosions.

Then,I keep seeing people in the comments section making jokes out of it. Which is ridiculous and heartless. Fuck,I mean what has it got to do with payback for the Pearl harbor attack?

The place is already..dilapidated as it is, but people have to make jokes out of it. Sigh. This is really depressing.

I wish I could donate,but I don't really have any money. But I guess I could raise awareness. So yeah anyone reading this,please help to spread the message and stuffs like that!

Kinect is Awesome!

Yesterday,me and a bunch of classmates went to our former homeroom teacher(dunno if it's another word for form teacher?). We basically just hung out,talked and talked. Then we played Kinect. Initially everyone was kind of embarrassed to play,but Fahmy and Andi I think,started the ball rolling. Heh,I decided to try out the kinect,it was pretty fun. But I didn't bring my flip camera to vlog which they and me were really bumped out about! Sorry ):

Aizat was funny. Haha. The Javelin throw was funny,he didn't run but just threw the javelin immediately. Then there's an awesomely delicious lasagna made by Ashraf's,the Indian in one of the picture's above,mom.

I don't really know why my face was serious especially when we were playing boxing.

Hahah. It was shit loads of fun though. One thing I realized from what everyone said,I've grown bigger ( like finally), but when I looked at my face in the pictures,it is really fat.

Like..ugh..amotherfuckingpig,never mind. I have to jog moar, -.-.

Hung with Ameline,Herina,Sutri,Fahmy,Khairul,Faith,Tong Khee,Andi and Hasheer. Just ate out at MacDiddies(fuck!) and then out at the Open Plaza looking at the stars while discussing some stuffs with Fahmy. Then Andi,me,Tong Khee,Khairul and Fahmy hung out at some seat at a void deck and they helped me out a lot,whether it was suggestions,taking care of me like when was the last bus arriving, everything. I zhank you for zat(lol,french accent!).

I still remember this song way back when I was a kid(Around 7,8,9? ) . That was the time when my mom was somewhat incapable of doing house chores and can't cook,etc. So we had to go eat out at my grandma's place every single night. So while we were in the dark red hyundai Matrix car,my dad would on something that was quite foreign to me, which later I known was reggae. I think that this was one of the songs that really moved me. I dunno why,maybe it was my current situation at that time. Because I really loved the melody of the song, I think it's probably in minor? haha

Anyway the reasons why I cried because I was kind of broken apart inside,up till now even I cry sometimes upon hearing this song! IT Show!!

So me,my dad and my step-mom went to the IT show to get my laptop for school.

Went there and saw heaps of people,I guess that's how it is every year eh? Haha.

We went to the NuBox and I instantly got a boner (kidding).However,there were loads of hot chinese chicks I'm telling you,wearing the "Team Nubox" t-shirt. Ain't so bad.

So my dad asked around and there was a girl who tended to us. She was kind of timid,and my dad was super fierce(?), so I had to be in the middle and kind of help out when my dad asked questions some times. However the girl was nice,really nice. I'm telling you they have good deals if you wanna upgrade your comp,in addition there's so many accessories for the machine (Covers,etc).

Also,my dad bought a MacBook Air that my step-mom's been asking. My dad had this "ah,ok la" expression;reluctance. It's funny,if you think from a third person's point of view whereby the husband has to spend and his wife keeps asking for this and that and whatnots.

So we paid and all that,I queued for a while to install the RAM in my laptop.

Then My dad came in,fuck yes. Why fuck yes? I had a chat with an awesome girl who was at the side of the booth helping to sell the Laptop cases. She was super nice. I forgot to ask her name but she was like me, went to secondary 5 and now waiting for Poly. So anyone in Nanyang poly, interior design course,treat her nicely, she's a really nice person to talk with! It's a pity that I didn't ask her number though. Ah well,if it is meant to be then it's meant to be. It was really nice to socialize. Fuck ): .

Oh yeah,I realized my chances of saying "fuck"/"fucking" as an adjective/adverb(?) really is close to zilch, now that's a random fact eh? :D

So we eventually left,and yeah,goodbyes are sad(!), I mean come on, chicks in Singapore are really not that approachable,it's gonna be hard to find girls like her again though ): . Had dinner then went to Starbucks,to drink coffee. Then went to My dad's friend house,which we hung out for a while. Then made it back home around 10.30.

So I slept at 5am(I think) last night talking to Fadzil on FaceBook.

Joked around but learnt a few things . Then earlier yesterday, Ameline keeps ranting to me whenever she's quarreling with Martin. hahaha. You guys,have more tolerance of each other!

Today,woke up at nearly 1pm I think. And just basically live the life of a sloth. It's getting in to me,or maybe it's in me already(yes,this I feel that having a girlfriend is much more productive,seriously). Every time I finish eating,I'd rather go sleep than do anything. Holy crap.

No one to text,just tweet,watch some random videos on YouTube,FaceBook. Normal everyday internet stuff. Yeah,just watching videos of me and you,together. sigh!

And oh,I tried harsh singing and screaming today. Screaming,I tried to pull it out of my asshole like how Matt heafy does it,but I can't. My throat somehow hurts,but water saves the day.

Nah,why should you? Anyway,2nd post of the day 26/2/11.

Why am I doing this,I'm bored. At home. Currently revising hiragana and waiting for the vlog to export finish.

So,let's elaborate via the pictures above!

Hmm,the 1st picture and 4th picture was on the first day of Korea.

I remembered when we first stepped in the airport. It was rushed,we had to eat breakfast ASAP. However we had time to spare so we went outside and it was cold. So apparently we could "smoke". Tong khee paraphrases it as "tarik",good times.

Then we had 2 trainings( the pictures were in the 2nd training),and we changed into our gi pants for the first time and we literally chilled to death when were changing our to full uniform. Then that training in that place in the 2nd training,was enervating. We trained like crazy,but they were encouraging,really encouraging. No breaks at all. But it's all good after that,we had pocari sweat to recharge and not to mention bibimpap. We left like 4+ and they still had 4 more hours more to go,and the coach describe it as warm up. Wow.Fucking.Hell.

The 5th and 6th was during the 2nd day. Ktigers,yes Ktigers we met them, motherfuckers. hahah. K it's only their secondary team,which was already better than us. I remembered that their training place was situated at some building. The lift; we had to cramp in together. lol. Then when we reached the 7th floor I think? The first thing we saw was,heaps of trophy. I admit,I was intimidated. Anybody that watches Ktigers video on youtube will be intimidated initially,really.The trophies they earned were holy crap.

The training was sort of like an ice breaker game thing. But they were nice,really nice. I forgot to say thanks to my partner though. Which I am regretful of :/!

The 2nd and 3rd is during the 3rd day. We went skiing,but we didn't ski. We threw snowballs,at..lol. Never mind. It was the first time everyone sweat when the weather was freaking cold,ironic huh?Then we went to Everland. Went to loads of rides. Bought that strap,which I doubt you use it anymore.heh..

All in all,I think that trip had a big impact on at least on me. Both good and bad.

Hmm,people over there are really approachable. I know I sound like I'm putting in a good light only,but hey inevitably it has it's downside as well. However overall I think that the place is great.

It's sad though I didn't spend all the time/fun with you! I had to hold back because you weren't here. Gah.

Yesterday,I just got off from a conversation on MSN with my good ol' friend : Fahmy. He's a good friend of mine since 13. Heh, so anyway. He helped me quite a lot,emotionally and such. Since that break up,which I'm thankful for cause I have many others(!) that helped me too. I kept ranting and ranting about the shit that I felt then I realized I forgot about his status with.. you know. I mean come on,you don't know? Anyway,I hope he doesn't mind me using him as an example!

So anyway,he said that he kinda felt like.. he wants to give up on his girl. I obviously,being a good friend (:P),tried to stop him. Yeah, it wasn't easy because he didn't know how it feels like to be apart from the girl that you love. So I tried to make him look at different perspective,which I though was tad bit futile;the only way he had to learn was by the hard way.

But then I remembered,I kept listening to kelly clarkson's Breakaway and felt that insecurity of letting go,when I read the lyrics while listening to the song. So I tried incorporating that thinking and gave him a scenario. The scenario being : if you were able to play BMX around the world but have to give her up,what will you feel? He said he too was,a little bit scared.

So I told him this,you're depending on her. No matter what you did, you're still depending on her. No matter what you do,you had her in the back of your mind. Then came all the "I realized I was selfish" and all that cliche stuffs. It's nice to know that people realized that they have done something wrong,it really is. So anyway, I told him that the difference between you and me is that,you can still depend on her.. while I can't already;So don't lose that girl,motherfucker!

Okay I admit,that motherfucker was made up. Haha.

I can say all those "you should cherish..blablabla" bullshit,but what impact does it make anyway? All I want to say is this,taking things for granted is like..I dunno,AIDS?(yes,paraphrasing of course) It's a progressive thing rather than some one time thing. You won't know until she's / he's gone.

And to be frank,it's kinda sad to see all that you have wrought with her, is gonna be destroyed by some other guy eventually; given that you truly love that person.

I dunno if it makes sense,or gave you a kick. heh. But it's worth a try right,if anyone is somewhat having this "I hate my gf" bullshit. Yes bullshit,cause you know you'd die without her. heh.

Then they say it's give and take,yeah it's true. When you want them to love you more,how bout giving that "I'll love you more" back too? This theory is proven when I asked Fadzil to come along with me to put the sandwich at her doorstep on Valentine's day. I don't know why I'm laughing while I'm typing this but, I said I'd treat him lunch if he followed! Then it worked out,he followed me! hahaha. xD.So yeah,it works that way,anybody who is reading this. They want/somehow want /in their subconscious want,to know what's in it for them if they're putting their love on the line for ya.

Any guy reading this; take it easy,don't be a douchebag thinking you're strong without her,while you're still together. 'Cause she's the reason why you're strong,motherfugga.

I guess that's my mistake too,and I.. sometimes despise myself to the point of being insane for letting it get too far.

Hmm, Trivium's throes of perdition,as I've mentioned a few post back..the one about the album review(which was 3rd rate,but meh),I can't stop listening to it for 3 fucking years. God,that's long.

Anyway,I really love this song. It kinda depicts about the time of ancient civilizations of men? Because it has the words cro-magnon,hence the aforementioned interpretation.

Not only that,it also depicts.. the hardships of men. Which I am able to relate to.

The verse " Vultures circle above,hyenas mocking the kill,excrement drooling down their chins. Atop the cliff I look down into the starving hell mouth,the rabid foam crashes hard on its teeth,their mouth salivate,fantasizing my gruesome ending. This world looks down upon a man who can stand on his own 2 feet".

The way I see it;paraphrasing it.. is that..let's just say I am the guy.. hyenas and vultures are just some arrogant/selfish/whatever you want to put it here,people,they just killed someone inside and they want more. Thus,they just wanna see my death,my end etc. Yeah, those bastards who made me had a hard childhood and till now,who tries and tries to kill me inside!

Dream high theme,catchy.So I know it's 2 post in a day.I just watched episode 10 just now. It's a drama about Kids trying to make it big in the music scene. Which I've learnt quite a lot. Like emotional delivery in songs and such. To be honest,Suzy(the girl/woman with the green top) is the bomb. Super pretty. Yeah,anyway the kiss scene in the ferris wheel where Taecyon and Suzy kissed is freakin awesome. The way it subtly make its way is naturally.. nice?

Nothing more than a day of hearing music from Final Fantasy. I admit that my childhood wasn't that broad,but I dunno why I always liked the idea of Final fantasy. Yes,even though I have not played any of the games for that matter. Seeing the screenshots from websites and such; research about the game really is what is etched in my mind. Now that I'm all grown up, I decide to find out what's so great about the game that makes people love their childhood just because of Final Fantasy.

And so I heard,ah.. the song is really the bomb. So intriguing. The song above is really emotional and it really connects me. It somehow conveys the emotions of what I've been through,like a film strip playing all the memories of us ,of how I acted,of how I loved,of everything,while I'm watching it by myself.

Waltz for the moon when we were happy,and this is when we're at the end.

The music just peaceful,and warm. Just like how closures should be,just like how we end the game. It's so appropriate. To be honest,I have so much to say but I just can't convey it in words.

This feeling is inexpressible I guess.

Alright,it's time for another review.Because I am decaying slowly in the pits of boredom. Haha. Anyway,this time it is a movie review for those who are interested in japanese stuffs like me!

Okay,this is a romance/sci fi movie in my opinion.

Synopsis: In 2010, Kazuko Yoshiyama (Narumi Yasuda) works as a pharmaceutical researcher secretly developing a formula for time travel. When she is left comatose after a car accident, her daughter Akari learns of her mother's first love, Kazuo Fukamachi (Kanji Ishimaru), from Kazuko's friend Goro Asakura (Masanobu Katsumura). Believing that finding Kazuo will allow her mother to regain consciousness, Akari uses Kazuko's formula to leap back in time to the 1970s in hopes of finding a younger Kazuo. Instead, she meets and befriends Ryota Mizorogi (Nakao Akiyoshi). Together, they attempt to search for Kazuo, but love begins to blossom between Akari and Ryota, despite the fact that Akari must eventually return to the future.

The synopsis is from wikipedia by the way! So anyway,the main focus is on Akari,she travelled back in time to help her mother out and find that specific guy. Hence she landed in a random laboratory and met Ryota there. Their relationship grew and eventually Akari had fellings for Ryota.

What I like about this movie is that,it's not an ordinary love story. This is kinda like the girl loved a guy from the past..get it? I don't think so. I feel that it's kinda touching especially when Ryota was about to go on a ski trip and Akari wanted to stop him from going because he will eventually die due to the bus falling from a cliff whilst on the way. Uh oh spoiler. All in all,I think that it has a great twist.

The actress acting as Akari is really a good one. It really moved me when she was about to confess to Ryota but didn't and when she tried to stop Ryota but couldn't because she can't mess with the timeline thing,spoiler :P.

I definitely recommend this to those who are just plain bored or interested!
Oh,fun fact: its story is actually from a manga way back in 1967? Wow,then there's so many adaptation,I watch the latest live action which is the trailer above.

OKAY,let's begin with this cool camcorder;IT DOESN'T TAKES PICTURES I'M AFRAID.

Now I found out about this camera not that long ago,while I as desperately wanting to improve my video quality on youtube. Hence,I decided to search on google and stumbled upon this forum,the guys sells the camera at 150 SG$ ,while it retails at 285(i think) SG$, saved about 135$. Woot

Anyway,that's just how I stumbled upon the camera. Let's see the specs..

Specs,it comes in 4gb( 1 hour recording time) or 8gb( 2 hour recording time) built in flash memory.I think the 8gb model only comes in black if I remembered correctly.

It records in mp4 format, h.264 ,AAC stereo audio,HD 720p (1280x720) at 50fps.

Yes,this records in HD 720p.

Okay,so the quality on the camera is fairly good when in the day,but there's a lot of video noise when it's dark. That's one of the flaws for it being a small and compact camera. So yeah. The other being auto focus,the device lacks the ability of auto focus unfortunately. So if you are looking to make a professional video and/or sketches(short story) video,this is not really the camera. It's more suitable for vlogging,or capturing random videos whilst in school or whatever.

It fits into your pockets just nicely,really nicely. Yes,there's another camera that I think can be an alternative for normal vlogging,videoing,etc; Flip ultra HD. Seeing a lot videos of comparisons and video reviews, maybe majority prefers the Flip ultra HD ,mainly because probably the quality is kick ass for 720p and it being small. However,it is slightly bigger but still,fits in your pocket.

The battery in the flip mino HD is ion rechargeable battery and you charge it via usb. I dunno if you can use the usb adaptor to charge it,because the last time I tried it,it said low voltage usb..blabla. Which meant that the adapter didn't had enough juice to charge the thing. So yeah,it might be inconvenient for you especially when the battery is near dead.

However on the other hand,the ultra HD uses AA batteries,which comes in with the box and rechargeable. Also you can use other AA batteries when the battery dies. So yeah,it's somewhat convenient isn't it?

This is the back of the device. It's touch sensitive which is quite responsive,in my opinion. User-friendly UI (user interface),real easy to use. You just need intuition that's all :P. Oh btw,the red button is to record.

Hmm,if you wanna use this camera for sharing sites like YouTube, the frame rate of the videos will be reduced to 30fps because I think that's the limit. So yeah,maybe it is for other sites? I haven't tried it. Don't be deceived by what you see when you record it in the camcorder!

Well,you can watch it on your HDTV,but I don't think there's many people that do it?

So having said that,which do you prefer? oh wait,there's so many pocket camcorders in the market..grr.

iPod Touch 4 review?

Okay,I know it's fairly early that I am going to be reviewing this thing. HOWEVER,it's like the previous generations of iPod touch,just upgraded specs. Yes. Speaking about specs,if you are really that person into performance and the looks,I think that this device is for you. The difference is that,the 4th gen ipod touch has cameras(front and rear) and facetime app. Oh it also takes 720p HD recording. I think you have -to turn it,to get the 16:9 ratio. so you won't have the 3:2 aspect ratio when you upload directly to youtube? that's my guess I think,if I am wrong don't quote on me for that and inform me at the tagboard? :S

When I initially went to Twitter for iPhone app,I realized the vast difference of the speed between my previous iPod and this one. The loading time is really fast. Yes,all due to the A4 chip. What else..and oh did I mention that the retina display is super awesome? It's unbelievable! I can't discern the pixels.

Not really much of a difference maybe in the first 2 picture; it's subtle. However the 3rd picture is somewhat obvious. Yeah.

Other than that,I presume that you know all there is to iPod touch so I won't go in detail.

Oh wait,the camera has no auto focus lens unfortunately. And oh,the speaker from the 4th gen ipod touch is freaking loud than the 3rd gen. Really loud.

All in all,I think that if you wanna upgrade your ipod touch to this,I'd recommend it only if you really have a use for it. However,I don't really recommend 8gb(328 S$) if you're a major vain..girl/boy. 32(428 S$)/64gb(588$ i think) is good to fit all your face in it. However if you are constantly changing apps and such,I think you should go for the 8gb model. General purposes;Ain't bad for an MP3 player,also you can play games with it.

The whole device is thinner and lighter,yeah as how every apple product progresses.

Not a bad alternative for an iPhone,you just need wifi and you can do all the stuffs that iPhone can do,except calling obviously. :S

Okay if you're not a fan of heavy metal music,you might wanna step aside for this. Haha.

Anyway,This album is from Trivium,yes a heavy metal band. I thought that I should make an opinion about this album that they made. Don't worry,I'll try to make it short and sweet.

And this is not in order though!

1. Down from the sky.

It's the first single of the album during that time;August,2008 I think.

Frankly speaking,when I heard this song for the first time, I jizzed figuratively. Yes,the verse riff albeit being simple power chords,I find that it's quite tight and mixed well with the drums. The pre-chorus riff whereby Matt screams "The vampires,feed off the wars of mankind" ,One of the most catchiest guitar riff I hear,until this date, 4/1/2011 ,still makes me bang my head. The breakdown riff ;"elephant riff" was really heavy ass metal. The solo was awesome. That's all I could say.

2. Throes of perdition.

Another fucking awesome song written by them. Yes,fucking awesome. The lyrics has a great impact on me and reminded me how the world used to look down at me and my family when my mom had a mental illness; "this world looks down upon a man who can stand on his own two feet" and "life feels like hell should,but this hell so cold,pull another knife out" . The riff,melodically(?) awesome. Really love to sing with it,really love it. The breakdown,heavy. One of the heaviest I have heard. The solo is tasty,with Matt and Corey's liquid solos. Awesome.

And oh,I played this song on my iTunes a whooping 826 times since I had this song on my iTunes. This is really the song I can connect to,thanks Matt heafy, for the awesome and meaningful song.

3. Insurrection

Amazing intro. Starts off with a blazing fast riff. I've had attempts with playing the song on my guitar. I failed. The song is really fast,not to mention that the verse riff is all down picked. Lyrically, another one that really has an impact on me. "I will bring my insurrection and a war upon heaven. Hellfire be my destruction, for this war upon heaven" ,I love that phrase. I love that verse. *orgasm in the ear* !@!@. The solo is really suiting,with all the notes perfectly arranged,traditional trivium style solo. Fast and ridiculously eargasmic(?)

4. Kirisute Gomen.

This song caught my eye because firstly,it has something to do with Japan(haha). Aside from that, I think another heavy ass riff song. Really up to the pace of your heart? As in the drums are somewhat sync with your heartbeat. You know that you wanna slow down but at the same time you wanna maintain. The solo is another tasty solo,with the wah pedal. Omfg,you are going ballistic.

5. Shogun.

Yes the song called shogun. I think,from my perspective and basing off the lyrics is reminiscing from a shogun's point of view whilst fighting a war? Haha,don't quote on me for anything. That's how I think. The phrase that Matt sings " Time will not heal,all of your pain. I cannot wait,for it all to come crashing" with the chord progression; It's really moving. Also,"Death's embracing,all is ending", I love the way he puts death in a figurative speech. The acoustic part was calming and soothing,with the clean pentatonic scale solo. Awesome blueish feel. Then after that,the song picks up it's pace and the real deal solo starts, it makes my mind go crazy but with admiration.

6. Into the mouth of hell we march.

Well,this song was not really that much appealing to me but I still hear it occasionally. However in general, I love the riff as I loved all the songs on the album. However there's is one phrase in the song that I have a..i dunno love for it? and also the riffs that stack on top of the words. "We crawl out from the wreckage ,Fingers dig into the sands (of the shores) ,Everything we worked for ,Is ripped apart and ruined, drowned ,Deep beneath our dying world ,he earth begins to open up". Yup,as usual amazing and exhilarating solo!

7. He who spawned the furies.

The riff was somewhat.. twisted and wicked? Along with the lyrics. However,if you look at this,the lyrics was based off Kronus(sp?) ingesting his children, if I could remember it correctly. Yes,greek mythology. The breakdown was ass heavy. Matt's scream was really ownage and the solo fit the song perfectly,with its wicked sounding.

8. Like callisto to A Star in Heaven

This song has some catchy riff. The verse riff is really amazing if you are looking at a guitarists' perspective. Excessive Downpicking; hand ache;Girls you should know how your arms ache when you masturbate his weener for a long time and still doesn't come. lol. Anyway, it has simple yet,kick ass breakdown. Lyrically,this is about Callisto who's a nymph,who vowed to be a virgin all her life I think. However,being impregnated by Zues. How horny is Zues anyway? He has like.. hundreds of wives. Then Callisto's band of nymph's exiled Callisto from their group/etc. Obviously Callisto gave birth to a son,which turned out to be a bear or something,I think? I don't really know how the story progresses afterwards. And oh,I think zues ran away right after impregnating Callisto.

9. Of prometheus and The crucifix

This song is yet another Greek mythology inspired song. Before I go into the story, I shall talk about the song. The riffs keeps your heady going up and down,especially in the verses. The breakdown is another fine and amazing riff. The breakdown lyrics are like how the lyrics of Throes of perdition has an impact on me. "Chain me down, nail me up ,It feels so cold on my skin ,Flesh cut deep from their claws

,Chew my organs out ,Salivating with hate ,Crown of thorns, deathly boards; won't ,Make me cease to be
You've turned this scapegoat into ,The lion that will devour you whole". The story is about Prometheus, stealing fire from olympus(I dunno?), and then Zues found out and sentenced his in confinement/Torture. Everyday A vulture(I think) would come and chew his organ and hence he will die,form bleeding,pain,etc. Only to find that he is revived the following day. Ow. Experience death umpteenth time, Zues is.. mental.

10. The calamity

This song,you know the words. Haha, The calamity is pretty sweet. The tones are really chunky yet precise;you can hear all the notes that they play. I dunno but,the lyrics seems to be about sephiroth? in FF7. That's amazing if it really was. xD. The solo is a candy to all those heavy metal geeks' ears.

First off I like to introduce to any ignorant people who doesn't know of this song.

First of all: the discovery of this song. From a porn. LOL,I swear to god, no pun intended. The song was played in the video, what captivated me the most wad the chorus' melody. I swear to god, I love the G7-ish chord sound.Well, I don't know if it applies to you but I love songs that are generally in minor. Go hear it if you haven't, yes I am really open about Kpop songs cause some stand out than the others, but nothing beats heavy metal baby.

looking back, I miss Korea. Really miss it. I think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. All I know is that, there's much more things to do than here back home. The autumn/winter was what I hoped for when I came, fortunately there was and I was definitely happy. Utterly happy. In general, people there are approachable. The thing that was ironic, I didnt want to go back home when we about to go back. I wanted to go more places. I wanna see how much more there is to the world. Damn, I miss places like these.

I was greeted unexpectedly with this amazing song by Dream theatre. I really loved the amazing sounds and all the subtle details in the songs; the solos and the nintendo 32-bit ish sound. I fell in love with this song instantly, really. Petrucci is amazing from my perspective as a guitar player.

However, let's shift the topic. It's finally the end of 2010. Like finally, all the ridiculous fights in school and the examinations just ended like that, how time flies. Yes I know the phrase is rather a cliche but it really does fly. Well, I have learned quite a lot especially after what had happened recently. I have to thank my dad for all the lectures during which that incident occurred. Not forgetting all my friends and that special one whom I have just lost. You guys helped me make my day in one way or another just by having your presence. And yes you're the ones that helped me grow. I'll not falter even though I know we're going our separate ways, just here smiling all the way.

My resolution; be a guitarist ;an emotional one. Might not happen this year but I will definitely try.
Be an approachable person and whatnots. Yeah, I guess that is about it.
Oh yeah,make more vlogs that will attract many people from other countries too! D:

Sorry for the lack of updates yet again, blog. Hmm.. Currently in a figurative war with o levels, or rather candidates taking the paper. Everyone is having a " every man for himself" attitude probably. Tomorrow's second half of the science paper: physics. Then the next day, geography.

My hands are extremely itching to change my guitar strings and just start like a beginner. I think I need a revamp on my whole guitar to make my play one more efficient.

Korea trip.. I stoked about that as well. I think it's timing couldn't be more perfect for a refresher. However boundaries set up; not good for sneaking out - freedom 3/4 gone. Looking on the bright side I hope that I get to try to eat as many good food as well. Especially if we ever sneak out; midnight snacks sold in Seoul is seriously insane. I wanna meet many people too, rargh!!

Well, I'll get back to revising later.

I have just got back from the daily study sessions with Dion. It's finally 7 days(considering tomorrow and not today) to the exams. Oh how I abhor you so,procrastination!

I've been hearing this song by Trivium quite a lot. It's called suffocating sight. However vague the lyrics were,I felt that during the breakdown right before the solo is awesome. "I can't breathe" is definitely my catch phrase for this period of time.

Oh yeah,today was nothing more than a mundane and extremely enervating day.
I couldn't coordinate my mind to its full potential,thus being distracted in between lessons;torpor. Which,I felt remorse about of only just. If only I was some nerd who's sole purpose is to study and nothing more. It's absolutely lamentable that I lost what I had 2 years ago ; the burning desire. Sigh. However,I'm compensating for the large loss at the moment. Such adversities never fail to put up an exciting to human beings such as myself.

However due to this,I've neglected quite a number of things. Which is extremely upsetting. However it's okay,a few more weeks! Complete freedom~!~ Not to mention the awesome Korea. Yahoo. Also not forgetting that I can spend time with my loved ones: guitar and Girlf.

Reading up on magazines/books/et cetera are definitely included in my list of post exam activities! Not to mention saving up for the awesome Playstation 3 and staying up late with Fadzil to jam and game. All is well my friend,every cloud has a silver lining!

Ah well,time passes quite fast when you rant endlessly doesn't it?

One of the seven deadly sins I would like to talk about is: Pride. As per my perspective, I have thus came up with this math equation.

Thus far we have Arrogance = (K) Pride.

I pretty much can relate this to this specific guy in my class,well,at least he treats me like I'm nothing much,but whatever. Yes,so he has shown how much arrogance he has. Pardon me for not enumerating it,because it all amounts to endless lists of it which I wouldn't spend my time doing it. Then there was this one time where he scored distinction for math,then his arrogance knew no boundaries.

Thus, infinite arrogance. Which is what he only has,for the very least,academic perspective.

Oh,there's one more incident during the following day of my birthday. Sadly,today's teens perceive that birthday bash are only hellbent on beating the Birthday-Boy to pulp. However the true meaning of it was basically birthday celebration,which leaves me perplexed so as to ponder,do you understand english?

Anyway,So I kicked him in the crotch due to reflexes. He "moaned", but the hilarious part was that nobody cared. Yes,I would like stick to the belief that I lightly tapped on his crotch. However if I literally did that,then you should at least try to endure the pain.

Don't take it out on me when everyone left you,lol.

Thus we have another equation; IMAGE = pride.
Which means that you're basically lying. You somehow wanted attention. You're a liar.
Yes,you fell the moment I "kicked" because you thought everyone might fall for your blatant acting. However you failed, you tried take it out on me and make it seem that it was my fault the first place.

Saying that I literally kicked you in the crotch,and it really hurts. Still,you are assumed that by doing such,you are doing it at your own risks.

Comeback.

Approximately 12 days to the dreaded O's. This is the real showdown,HELP HELP HELP HELP. Yes,it decides our future depending on how exquisite your slip will be, thus the apprehensive expression. I really hope to attain enough distinctions/points just to get into that Music and Technology course which is in Singapore Polytechnic. Yes,I know,it's all to the extreme other end of the MRT line from where I live. I wouldn't mind doing so,because I wouldn't be complaining at how horrendous my course's experience is going to be(Hopefully).

Today's Sunday. I basically took my own sweet time to do whatever I wanted and it was "hell-of-a-blast". Needless to say it was exceptionally boring 90% of the time as it was spent on looking up on the updates on jailbreak. Well,I do not want to go into that because it can really get overboard. Especially how every demonstrator in the every tutorial are able to do it so successfully while you are always rebooting back into the original 4.1 firmware. It's quite an ironic yet amusive phenomenon to ponder over and one I came to be cognizant of only just.

The other 10% was quite incidental. It was about Japan from this Danish's perspective. Which I think it is quite an informative point of view. Yes,in youtube. I wholly respect with what he is trying to do; breaking the ignorance cycle of your perception about Japan. Whatever,anyway.. Generally you're always informed about the positive things.. Government went to this and visited that,yada yada.. it was never their negative side,always painting positive pictures. However,thanks to you guys who provide us with education, we're not as ignorant as you think.

Anyway,going back to the topic: Japan's flaws. Yes,racism do exist in Japan,obviously the victim here are foreigners; they have restrictions,to be honest. Summarizing everything after watching the videos, I feel that it definitely balances between the bad with the good.Every time,I am informed that Japan is a wonderful place.. yeah,to a certain extent.

However,ever heard that in Japan,outstandingly in Tokyo, Sex is an acceptable social norm? Or at least the girls there are either shy to voice out or just okay with it. Not to mention that.. yes.. we all have to accept that EVERY guy is a pervert to a certain extent. Don't lie,our balls just can't stand being without girls. Anyway, guys are rubbing their crotches onto girls' butt whilst in cramped train ridess. It's really unorthodox. Yeah,that's one of the outstanding problems at there. There's many more though,but I do not want to make this entry extremely lengthy.

It's a pity to see pretty school girls being exploited then paid. Makes them seems as though they're cheap,don't you agree?Not to contradict but I love Japan myself,but with this pervert plague that's growing in them,is.. morbidly depressing. Not knowing to draw a line between what is right and wrong makes you look like a lumpenproletariat being indulged in sexual fantasies,
to be honest.. I mean come on,jacking off in front of child pornography.. They should be at least jacking off at fully developed females than that.. (=.=)!!!

Okay,I think after a week and two days or something like that,it's time to balooog.
The September holidays are coming to its end,and I'm sad 'cause I think that I've been swayed away from my attention to studies and more on games and etcetera.

Well,metal gear solid has been fun! Though it's closing its curtains though.
Heat the soul is traditional,you fight here and there,but there's new stuffs which is pretty nice. Oh and many anime on animax that I watched came to an end. More new stuffs coming in but I can't seem to adapt to the transition that well,blame the PSP. xD.

Hmm,hari raya,was..well..mundane,one house,a few hours. Then go back home and slacked.
However my grandma seriously looked frail. It's quite depressing,trying to force herself not to stay weak. It's sad that in life,you either die painfully or painlessly,and I guess the probability of it being painfully is more? Damn life.

O level is dangerously close,fuck.And this amounts to occasional breathing problems/chest pains which sucks.gr,but after this it's koreaaaaa!!!

Hi there,my blog whom I left on the shelf for a week or so. I'm back from the busy school week and had serious fun on Friday.We had the national day celebration,but somehow it turned somewhat wild.So I realized how a good performance should be,if I ever play in gigs.Getting the crowd to be involved.Emcees,interaction with crowds,etc.,etc.

Well the best part was when everybody in our class randomly moshed to the song "stand up for Singapore", suddenly one person start ramming into another,and that's it. First time experiencing such things to be honest,but it undeniably awesome. Singing just for the sake of fun was a good way to relieve stress. :D

Anyhoo,16 days to prelims.O levels are drawing nearer,yes. Finally freedom is near.

Okay,the reason why I've not been blogging cause it's nearing the exam period soon and I have to get my ass into studying just for this damn period,after that,frequent blogging! :D. SO yeah,I will use twitter regardless since it's convenient. Yeah,anything just head over there and look.

Hmm,I've been recording 30 second solos ,and I've done about 3 "songs" all for the rhythm guitar parts and 2 of the song's solos are yet to be completed. I feel like it's time I get things started :S,sadly there's no drum parts due to the limits of a computer keyboard,though I have the program installed already,and as for bass,hmm,I don't know. I'll figure it out eventually. Ah well,tomorrow am going to jam with ser kit and Daniel to record some stuffs and randomly play stuffs. I think this DPA thing isn't gonna work so I thought I should uploading stuffs on the internet. :D.

Yesterday was a fine date. I thought that study programme yesterday was somewhat a waste of time to be honest. & it's pretty sad that so little people turn up for it.

Alright,spain won.
However I thought that this year's world cup experience was quite a genuine one.
From watching online to celebrating goals to some expected knock outs.
Yeah,I thought that world cup was gonna be boring but I was mistaken though.
Reminiscing the times I celebrated goals was when south korea scored 2-2 against Nigeria,
Japan scored 3-1 against Denmark, and also when the equalizer came by a header in the south Korea against Uruguay but eventually got beaten.

Sigh,I thought Uruguay was somewhat of a "tyco" in my humble opinion.
Ah well.

So anyway,Mother Tongue oral's tomorrow. Damn.

Woke up with a moue on my face. As I checked the time,it was 10.30 am. Shit,I missed the beautiful dawn that happens at around 7.00++,and it's not the time when you go to school experience. However , I woke up whilst nictate to get a good switch on for my brain.

Went to the toilet to check on my face,and when I looked at myself in the mirror. My unshaven mustache reminds me of how the italians that were depicted in assassin's creed 2 looked like,vandyke and mustache, with beret and some traditional overall.

Hence ,I smiled at myself for thinking such stuff and lightly touched my zygoma due to curiosity.

Yes,it doesn't make sense but what matters is forming those sentences with the correct word! :D

Well this week was pretty slack,yes as aforementioned in the previous post (if).
Quite the pain in the ass trying to adjust to the timing. I often get so sleepy but ended up sleeping late. One of which was the day when Japan got knocked out. Sucks.

Today's start of the new term. I'm utterly glad there's nothing on the first week except the timetable is slacked due to some of the subject teacher's having to go on a school trip.

Though I dread the teachers having to make the whole assembly such a verbose one,I couldn't concentrate reading my book because of the ruckus,sucks.
Then there was catching up with friends to do. Yeah,heard ridiculously funny stuffs and many more. Pretty much the same thing but it never gets old does it?

I think thy should know that thy don't have the dignity to be respected by others.
Which makes thy look rather stupid.

Alright,I'm pretty contented with many things.
Japan won,yes although maybe it won't last for long,
Korea's match tomorrow. I bagged a new laptop for myself,my awesome old man gave it!

Hmm , well playing nintendo DS games on this baby is good considering it's touch screen which is like the real thing :D. I love my mac and this laptop but not forgetting that girl whom I loved since 310807 :D.

Okay,I've not been blogging due do the 'hectic' schedule,which I must attend to in due time.

So anyway,I recently watched a game walkthrough which is assassin's creed 2. I was pretty much blown away by the gameplay just because it was compelling. The story-line was awesome,and you can somehow related modern-day conspiracies with these,from my perspective anyway.

Observing fragments of your ancestor's past,is a tad cool. Yes,with using it correctly or for good.

However it's the quite the contrary in the story,there's this group called 'templars' who are trying to find descendants of a faction called the 'assassins',so that they could locate treasures called 'pieces of eden' via the 'animus',from your ancestors past with your DNA shit that they did(I know you can't comprehend,whoever you are,you have to watch it!!)

Hmm,the ending of assassin's creed 1 was quite the hair raising experience.

With the previous 16 test subject or experiments leaving behind clues,such as the codes you can learn from reading 'digital fortress',symbolism,etc.

Likewise for assassin's creed 2.

One word,or a few words rather;interesting/phenomenal/breathtaking.

Gawd.

wow,I woke up pretty early. Nah,it's just that I can't sleep due to,perhaps the bed bugs or whatever that bit my legs. They were super itchy till now.
Anyway,since I have the time to blog,why not blog now? hah.

I just got off from Tkd camp and it was pretty awesome.
Before that was physics and after that was fun all the way. Everyone in the room was like blasting off musics and all which was a bit annoying. It was rather more like a noise that music.
Briefings and blah,then finally east coast park.

That was my favorite part,flips and flips and more flips.
Many thanks to jin hui and Dion for the assist.

At night was pretty scandalous,while celebrating the june birthdays,suddenly mr lim asked michelle to sit beside tk,and we were like WTFLOL.
Snapped tons of pictures. Congrats to the couple. hahahah xD.
Then aerobics and lastly night walk,which lasted super long.

Hah,had fun scaring and discussing about we should scare those juniors.
I remember that we were actually scared to go in the classrooms ourselves.
The ambiance was freakishly scary,pitch dark and the idea of 'ghost',just go hand in hand.
However it got fun when more people joined.

I think those who was with me and tk had the most fun. Shan't go into details.

It lasted till about 2?Was a bit tired by then. Washed up,thinking of going caltex but they locked the big sliding gate. So mac delivery was our alternative. Ate and slept.

Woke up about 7.30 and everyone felt like shit.
Went back because we had geog or some other important stuffs to attend to.
Met my dearest,Knocked out at night,missing my kdrama ):

Bought my cotton on shirt and strings with bee.
One of the highlights were;

Today,I woke up at 7,only to find myself being late as usual to class. However this time round was with my scandal,Dion. So we went in the AVA room,only to find ourselves being shouted at by our friends. To end it all; I shouted shut up & they did so.

Why must morning be filled with redundant comments?

& don't say I'm a complainer just cause I'm saying this,since I experienced it since the start of the week.

Today was a "nice" closure to the term albeit the revision that knows no boundaries to its words.
Yes,hot as a motherfucker,everyone was like a freaking zombie but I think I learned pretty much but not that much in executing plans and stuffs. & yes,did I mention the nagging by that aunty who does not know her limit? Like what you've seen at my tagboard,that was what she said to me.
I did not have much to say except raise my hand,which means talk to the hand.

Nothing much to specifically complain about the last day,I got my fallowing period which was required.I love bleach,just an epic closure to the epic battle. Yay for sleeps,but too much till it ate 3/4 of my time to watch some korean drama called cinderella's stepsister.
